We believe that representation is important when creating culturally appropriate and community-centered health, nutrition, and garden education. As part of our values, we want to support communities in developing intentional educational materials that respectfully incorporate language and cultural components.

2022-2023 School Calendar
In collaboration with Casa Blanca Community School, we designed an exclusive academic calendar that highlighted important school days, general holidays, and community events. O'otham language components were also included throughout the calendar.

Specials Workbook
Kindergarten - 1st Grade
Continuing our collaboration with Casa Blanca Community School, we designed an age-appropriate Specials Workbook to support the Garden, Culture, and Music and Art classes. The K-1st Specials Workbook included English and the O'otham language translations for primary colors, days of the week, months, garden items, fruits and vegetables, and animals.

Specials Workbook
2nd-3rd Grade
Continuing our collaboration with Casa Blanca Community School, we designed an age-appropriate Specials Workbook to support the Garden, Culture, and Music and Art classes. The 2nd-3rd grade Specials Workbook included the O'otham language translation for primary colors, days of the week, months, garden items, fruits and vegetables, and animals. Additionally, we designed spaces for students' illustrations and writing prompts.

4th-5th Grade
Continuing our collaboration with Casa Blanca Community School, we designed an age-appropriate Specials Workbook to support the Garden, Culture, and Music and Art classes. The 4th-5th grade Specials Workbook included the O'otham language translation for primary colors, days of the week, months, garden items, fruits and vegetables, and animals. Additionally, the garden section combined STEM learning objectives with culturally appropriate topics to further support learning opportunities.
